Punctuation Mark of Interrogation

Punctuation Mark for Interrogation :   The interrogation mark ( ? ) is the point that asks questions.

1)  The mark of interrogation is used at the end of an interrogative sentence. The Question Mark is used, instead of the Full Stop, after a direct question. For example,

  • What do you example ?
  • Can you wait for me ?
  • Have you written your exercise ?
  • 2)  The mark of interrogation is also used at the end of a tag question. For example,

  • We are meeting them on Sunday, aren't we ?
  • You didn't finish that cake, did you ?
  • 3) Avoid the common trap of using question marks with indirect questions, which are statements that contain questions.

  • I wonder if he would go with me?   (Incorrect)
  • I wonder if he would go with me.   (Correct)
